Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated Careers Coordinator to join a secondary school in Tower Hamlets. You will deliver CEIAG, guidance sessions, and support students with post-16 and post-18 options.

This role requires strong collaboration with staff, families and external partners to track destinations and promote progression opportunities across university, apprenticeships, and training pathways.

Qualifications

• Experience in careers education or guidance within sixth form or secondary education.
• Strong knowledge of Gatsby Benchmarks.
• Familiarity with CDI Framework and CEIAG guidance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide CEIAG to sixth form students.
• Support progression pathways including university, apprenticeships, employment and training.
• Deliver 1:1 and group careers guidance sessions.
• Assist with applications, personal statements, CVs and interview prep.
• Develop links with universities, employers and external organisations.
• Support careers events, workshops and enrichment activities.
• Track destinations and progression outcomes.
• Collaborate with wider careers and pastoral teams.
