Job summary

Cranswick PLC, operating as Yorkshire Baker in South Yorkshire, is seeking a Site Technical Manager to lead the Technical Team and ensure compliance with legislation, customer requirements and Cranswick/ BRC standards. You will drive food safety, legality and quality across the site and prepare for audits.

Reporting to the site leadership, you will develop technical strategies, coach teams, manage KPIs and implement improvements that align with Cranswick pillars and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ proven management experience in a similar role within food manufacturing.
• Drive to succeed with excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong management skills with experience in leading a team and stakeholders.
• Experience with M&S codes of practice and BRC standard.

Responsibilities

• Provide management, direction and development for the technical team.
• Ensure site systems meet legislation and customer requirements.
• Drive food safety culture and KPI performance.
• Prepare for third-party and customer audits and visits.
• Develop site technical strategy aligned with Cranswick pillars.
