Job summary

Cranswick Yorkshire Baker is seeking a Technical Services Manager to ensure food safety, legality and quality across on-site production and to lead the technical product launch process from concept to launch.

You will manage the specification technologists and the technical admin team, deliver Power BI KPI reports, and build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and service providers to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Requirements include solid communication and analytical skills, plus a proven ability to drive improvements.
• Experience managing teams and handling quality, safety and regulatory compliance is essential.
• Proficiency in MS Office and a can-do approach to project coordination and change management.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety culture is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the specification technologists and the technical services agenda.
• Manage Laboratory contract and Pest Control contract.
• Oversee Change management process and Launch process from concept to launch.
• Lead customer specification and artwork generation; manage shelf life and nutrition validation.
• Drive site KPIs and provide regular technical updates and reports.
