Job summary

ContinU Plus Academy seeks a Site Team Manager to maintain and manage the academy site, including buildings, grounds, and security. You will work with the Headteacher and Finance Manager to plan and monitor the budget, and perform repairs, cleaning and safety tasks as required.

The role requires a DBS enhanced check, a full driving license with minibuses, and strong organisational and communication skills. A proactive, safety-focused approach is essential, with duties including supervising

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage the site in good repair and appearance, including buildings, facilities, drives, pathways, grounds and gardens
• Work with Headteacher and Finance Manager on budgeting and keep budget in check
• Undertake repairs and maintenance tasks within competence (locks, drains, toilets, etc.)
• Assist in cleaning duties and moving/replacing furniture
• Ensure drains and gullies are kept clear and safe
• Undertake mini-bus driving duties as needed
• Oversee grounds maintenance and litter collection
• Liaise with contractors, ensure safeguarding and health & safety compliance
• Act as fire marshal and ensure Fire Risk Assessment is up to date
• Ensure premises are heated, lit and secure when unoccupied
• Submit bids for site improvements
• Safety checks and daily health & safety compliance

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Site Team Manager to maintain & manage the Continu Plus Academy siteSalary Grade: NJC 7-12 - Full Year (28 days holiday - taken during school holidays)Hours: 31.5 hours P/WDo you think you are up to the job? If so, we welcome you to apply for the positionThe postholder will responsible for maintaining & managing the site in a good state of repair and appearance, including all buildings, facilities, drives and pathways, grounds and gardens.
