Job summary

Continu Plus Academy is seeking a Site Team Manager to maintain and manage the school site. You will supervise repairs, cleaning, and grounds work, while coordinating deliveries and contractor activity.

The role requires a full UK driving licence for minibuses, enhanced DBS clearance, and strong organisational skills. You will help ensure health and safety, fire safety, and security at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining a school site and facilities.
• Ability to manage contractors and health & safety compliance.
• Experience with supervising driving/mobility tasks is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the site in a good state of repair and appearance.
• Set and maintain the budget with Headteacher and Finance Manager.
• Undertake repairs and maintenance tasks within competence; replace locks, unblock sinks, drains and toilets.
• Undertake cleaning duties as required, including removal of body fluids and general cleaning.
• Assist in moving and replacing furniture and equipment and ensuring drains are kept clear.
• Undertake grounds maintenance and litter collection; supervise deliveries.
• Ensure contractors are approved per safeguarding and health & safety rules; manage on-site contractors.
• Be Fire Marshal and conduct daily health & safety checks.
• Be proactive in bidding for site improvements and ensure premises heated and lit.
