Foundry Lane Primary School is seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the security, safety and upkeep of the site. You will lead our site and cleaning team, keep buildings and grounds running smoothly, and ensure the site is a safe, welcoming place for pupils and staff every day.
This hands-on role requires practical supervision of a small team, strong health and safety knowledge, budgeting experience and the ability to coordinate contractors.

Hours to be worked between 06:30am - 18:00pm (to be agreed on appointment)

This is a varied and hands-on role for someone who takes pride in a well-run site, enjoys solving practical problems, and can lead a small team with confidence.
This role involves manual tasks such as lifting, working at height and working outdoors in all weather conditions
Proven experience in site management, caretaking or a similar facilities role
A practical, can-do approach with good problem-solving skills
Experience managing or supervising a team
A sound understanding of health and safety practice
Experience managing budgets and prioritising work to meet deadlines
Confident liaising with contractors and communicating clearly with staff, pupils and visitors
Comfortable using IT for record-keeping, ordering supplies and reporting
A flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
