Job summary

Amida is seeking a hands-on Site Manager to join a small, specialist, child-centred school in Fareham. The role can be mornings-only (7:30am–1pm) or full-time, with duties covering building and grounds maintenance, health and safety, and contractor supervision.

You will work with the Headteacher and team to keep the site safe, welcoming and well-presented. The role includes opportunities for funded training, CPD and benefits as part of a broader education group, with ongoing support and career

Qualifications

• Practical maintenance and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure the school each day.

Do you take pride in keeping things safe, organised and running smoothly? Would you like to work mornings only? Would you enjoy the responsibility of leading on health and safety, building and maintenance and risk assessment? I am seeking a proactive and hands-on Site Manager to join a small and friendly, specialist, child centred school. Ideally, I am looking for someone to work 7:30am to 1pm, however full time applications will also be considered. This is a varied role that would suit someone from a buildings and maintenance background who enjoys practical problem-solving, takes ownership of their environment and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, welcoming and well-presented site.

Working closely with the Headteacher and wider team, you will play a key role in ensuring the school remains a safe and enjoyable place for pupils, staff and visitors. Salary advertised is full time equivalent and will be pro-rata according to contracted hours.
