Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking a passionate leader to drive the Leicester site’s Sustainability and RECON agenda, reducing energy, water and waste while enabling operational excellence. You will partner with Engineering, Operations and Leadership to embed conservation into daily actions and long‑term business planning.

The role focuses on building a multi‑year energy strategy, managing budgets and leveraging external partners to deliver value with strong safety and compliance oversight.

Qualifications

• BTEC HNC or equivalent in electromechanical discipline.
• NEBOSH General Certificate required.
• IOSH Managing Safety experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead Leicester site energy and water reduction planning (RECON).
• Build a strategic energy roadmap aligned to site maturity.
• Coordinate with external contractors and authorities for value and compliance.
• Identify and deliver energy savings and waste reduction initiatives.
• Manage safety and environmental compliance across the scope.
• Develop energy-budget and multi‑year saving programs.
• Maintain energy readings and monitoring records.
