Job summary

PepsiCo UK is seeking a passionate leader to drive the site's Sustainability and Resource Conservation (RECON) agenda in Leicester. You will develop and deliver strategies to reduce energy, water and waste while supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Working with Engineering, Operations and Leadership, you will champion a culture of sustainability, embed conservation into daily activities, and build a multi-year energy saving program across a 24x7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• BTEC HNC in electromechanical or equivalent vocational experience.
• NEBOSH General Certificate and IOSH Managing Safety.
• Experience leading energy and environmental strategies in a fast-paced FMCG setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Leicester Manufacturing energy resource conservation (RECON) program and drive energy/water reduction plans.
• Build a strategic multi-year energy saving program aligned with productivity goals.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and external partners to deliver projects.
• Maintain energy reading assets and accurate monitoring records.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and reporting on energy initiatives.
• Develop and manage the energy annual operating plan budget.
