Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking a Site Surveyor to support the delivery of planned maintenance across occupied social housing properties.

You will survey properties, scope works, validate specifications, and work with Site Managers to ensure projects are set up for successful delivery from the outset. This site-based role covers Redditch, Worcester and Malvern, with a new contract win and a wider benefits package discussed at screening.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planned maintenance in occupied social housing.
• Ability to survey properties and scope works to specification.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Site Surveyor to support the delivery of planned maintenance works across occupied social housing properties throughout Swindon.

Working closely with operational, commercial and resident liaison teams, you will be responsible for surveying properties, scoping works, validating specifications and ensuring projects are set up for successful delivery from the outset.

Main Duties

• Undertaking pre-work property surveys across occupied social housing stock.
• Producing schedules of works and detailed specifications.

• Liaising with residents and client representatives during surveying activities.

Experience We're Seeking

• Previous experience delivering planned maintenance, refurbishment or retrofit works. (Essential)
• Experience working within occupied social housing environments. (Essential)
• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor. (Desirable)
• Full UK Driving Licence. (Essential)
• Relevant construction or surveying qualification. (Desirable)
