Job summary

Wates Property Services is seeking an experienced Site Surveyor to support a major social housing contract across North London boroughs such as Islington, Hackney and Haringey. The role focuses on commercial management, cost control and client relationships throughout delivery.

You will produce cost evaluations, forecasts and commercial reporting, identify and mitigate risks, and assist with valuations and final accounts while coordinating with contract negotiations and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience undertaking cost evaluations, financial reporting and budget management.
• Evidence of identifying and mitigating commercial and contractual risks.
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and client-facing commercial discussions.
• Knowledge of planned maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit or capital works programmes.
• Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

Overview

WPS are seeking an experienced Site Surveyor to join our team covering the North London Boroughs; Islington, Hackney & Haringey. Working across a diverse portfolio of planned maintenance and capital improvement projects, you'll support the commercial and operational teams on multi streamed programmes

Key Duties

As Site Surveyor, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are commercially managed, risks are controlled and client relationships are maintained throughout delivery. Responsibilities include:
