Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join a busy construction project in South Shields. You will supervise and coordinate site activities and the workforce, ensuring work is completed safely and to the required standards.

The role starts on 7th September and runs long-term until December. The rate is £24-£26 per hour CIS, with weekly pay, and the opportunity to gain further site experience on a high-profile project.

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Blue Card and SSSTS qualifications.
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate site activities and workforce.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to required standards.
• Monitor daily progress and liaise with site management.
• Enforce health & safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.

Location: South Shields
Start: 7th September

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a busy construction project in South Shields.

Your Role as a Site Supervisor

• Supervise and coordinate site activities and the workforce
• Ensure work is completed safely and to the required standards
• Monitor daily progress and liaise with site management
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment
• Report any hazards, issues or delays to site management
• Support the wider site team when required

What We're Looking For

• Valid CPCS Blue Card
• SSSTS qualification
• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor
• Relevant construction or civil engineering experience
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work effectively as part of a busy site team
