Job summary

Premises Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a growing fit-out and warehouse refurbishment contractor for a Site Supervisor role in London and the Home Counties. You will oversee commercial fit-out and warehouse refurbishment projects, ensuring safety, quality and programme adherence.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will supervise site operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain records, and liaise with clients and consultants.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor in construction.
• Experience delivering commercial fit out and warehouse refurbishment.
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
• CSCS Card and full UK driving licence.
• First Aid at Work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site operations on commercial fit out and warehouse refurbishment projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor programme progress and assist in maintaining project deadlines.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety legislation and company procedures.
• Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
• Manage site logistics, deliveries and material allocations.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and health & safety documentation.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues to minimise programme delays.
• Support the successful delivery of projects from start through to handover.

Our client is an established and respected main contractor specialising in commercial fit out and warehouse refurbishment projects across London and the South East.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee projects valued up to £2.5 million.

The Role:

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry.
• Experience delivering commercial fit out and/or warehouse refurbishment projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain programme.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem solving.
• SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
• CSCS Card.
• First Aid at Work qualification (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.
