Job summary

Royal College of Music is seeking a Site Supervisor to support day-to-day site operations on retail refurbishment projects. You will work to the Site Manager to ensure on-time delivery, safety and high-quality standards on site.

The role requires supervising trades, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining records in a live environment with travel as needed. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising retail fit-out or fast-track refurbishment projects.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades in a live or occupied environment.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• CSCS Card held.
• First Aid at Work preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and lodge away when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervising subcontractors and trades on site.
• Ensuring works are completed in line with programme and specification.
• Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards.
• Monitoring quality and assisting with snagging.
• Coordinating deliveries, materials and site logistics.
• Maintaining site records and reporting progress to Site Manager and Contracts Manager.
• Building positive relationships with clients, suppliers and the wider project team.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you'll support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
