This is a hands‑on position for someone who takes pride in maintaining a school site and understands the importance of providing children, staff and visitors with a safe, secure and well‑maintained environment.

You will work closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager, taking responsibility for the day‑to‑day condition of the school's buildings and grounds. You will also assist with planned preventative maintenance and maintain appropriate records relating to repairs, inspections and servicing.

A key part of the position will be ensuring the school is prepared for the day. This will include opening the site, checking classrooms and communal areas, ensuring access routes are clear and responding to any issues identified before pupils arrive.

You will also support the school with assemblies, parents' evenings, performances, meetings and other events by preparing rooms, moving furniture and ensuring facilities are ready for use.
