Job summary

Lancashire County Council is seeking a Site Supervisor at Garstang CRRCs to lead day-to-day operations, supervise operatives, and maintain high standards of customer service, health and safety, and environmental compliance.

Working Thursday to Monday, 37 hours plus three hours overtime, with weekend enhancements. You will coordinate with the Site Manager, develop the team, and drive Lancashire's recycling and reuse objectives.

Qualifications

• Hold, or be willing to achieve, industry-recognised qualifications such as COTC Level 4, OCC, and First Aid to support the safe and compliant operation of our recycling centres.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations and supervise operatives.
• Coordinate daily site operations with the Site Manager.
• Ensure high standards of health and safety, customer service, housekeeping and environmental compliance.
