Job Description:

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with an Electrical Site Supervisor based at Burham WSW, Kent.

You will report directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor, and your role will be to supervise and control all electrical site activities efficiently, according to the specifications and within the contract time, while ensuring health and safety standards and delivering a quality end product.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervision of site electrical installations
• Maintaining SHE standards and safe systems of work
• Ensuring high-quality standards in line with current standards and specifications
• Verification of new electrical systems
• Safe isolation of LV electrical systems
• Monitoring supply chain performance and schedule
• Reviewing and updating supplier inspection and test plans
• Attending site inductions and toolbox talks
• Supporting commissioning activities as required
• Participating in collaborative planning and developing site delivery programs
• As Electrical Appointed Person, ensuring electrical safety rules are followed and documentation is maintained
• Carrying out electrical isolations and safety inspections
• Conducting regular electrical safety inspections on equipment
• Holding 121’s with supply chain supervisors and ensuring safety procedures are followed
• Assisting with project takeover documentation
• Overseeing electrical testing in accordance with BS7671 and reviewing test results
