Job Description:

We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with an Electrical Site Supervisor based within the Thames Region.

You will report directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor, and your role will involve supervising and controlling all electrical site activities efficiently, according to the specifications and within the contract time, without risking health and safety, and delivering a quality end product with a proper installation as work progresses.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supervision of site electrical installations
• Maintaining SHE standards and ensuring safe systems of work are followed
• Producing a high-quality product in line with current standards and specifications
• Verification of new electrical systems
• Safe isolation of LV electrical systems
• Monitoring supply chain performance and programme
• Reviewing and updating supplier inspection and test plans relevant to the work
• Attending site inductions and toolbox talks
• Supporting commissioning activities as needed
• Participating in collaborative planning meetings and contributing to site delivery programmes
• As Electrical Appointed Person, ensuring electrical safety rules are followed and documentation is maintained according to Thames electrical safety rules
• Carrying out electrical isolations
• Conducting regular electrical safety inspections on equipment
• Holding 121’s with supply chain supervisors and ensuring take 5s are performed
• Assisting with project takeover documentation
• Overseeing electrical testing in line with BS7671, reviewing test results against guidance notes and manufacturer literature
