Job summary

Force Contracting Services is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations on civil engineering projects. The role requires ensuring safety, quality and efficiency in delivery, with hands-on leadership on-site.

You will supervise operatives, coordinate labour, plant and materials, and ensure RAMS compliance while reporting progress to management. Applicants should be prepared to travel and stay away as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within civil engineering/construction.
• CSCS, RAMS, health and safety knowledge.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience supervising site teams.
• Civil engineering/groundworks experience highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.
• Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
• Ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS and project requirements.
• Monitoring progress and quality of works.
• Carrying out toolbox talks and site briefings.
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety.

• Reporting progress and any issues to management.
• Supporting the wider site team and taking a hands-on approach where required.

Position: Site Supervisor

Salary: £49,140 - £51,480 (based 45 hour week)

Overtime: Generally x1.5 Sat and x2 Sunday - site dependant

Location: Ideally based near Worksop (Head Office)

Force Contracting Services is an established civil engineering and construction contractor, delivering projects across the UK. Our work spans civils, groundworks, infrastructure, rail, utilities and specialist construction.

Due to continued growth and a strong order book, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team on a PAYE basis.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of site operations, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising site operatives and subcontractors
