Job summary

Recruit4staff are representing an established mechanical engineering business in their search for a Site Supervisor to work in Wrexham. The successful candidate will supervise a team of fitters, erectors and welders, coordinating labour to meet the site programme and ensuring safe workmanship.

The role requires a valid CIS/LTD experience and CITB SSSTS, with a focus on RAMS, lift plans, risk assessments and liaising with the client and principal contractor.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a install team on site and coordinate trades.
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, permits and lift plans on construction sites.
• Experience supervising pipefitters and site teams in mechanical installs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct and organise a team of fitters, erectors and welders.
• Brief teams on RAMS, permits, lift plans and site rules.
• Carry out risk assessments and toolbox talks, monitor safety.
• Control quality and progress of installations and liaise with client.
