Job summary

Linear Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to join a major construction scheme in Leeds. The role focuses on supervising and coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety, quality and programme delivery on site.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, liaise with site management and subcontractors, monitor progress and ensure RAMS and site procedures are followed, with an immediate start and long-term freelance potential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Site Supervisor on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site procedures and safety.
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
• CSCS card holder.
• Experience in main contractor or subcontractor environments.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
• Managing day-to-day site activities and coordinating trades.
• Liaising with Site Management, Project Management and subcontractors.

• Maintaining high standards of health & safety across the site.
• Carrying out regular inspections and quality checks.
• Assisting with the planning and sequencing of works.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Supervisor to join a major construction scheme in Leeds.

This is a great opportunity for a capable Site Supervisor with a strong background in construction to join an established site team and play a key role in the successful delivery of the project.
