Job summary

Romax Site Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a demolition company on a water works project in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. You will supervise groundworks on site, coordinate with the wider site team and ensure works are completed safely and to the required standards.

The role involves supervising groundworkers, coordinating with site management and other contractors, and maintaining high standards of site organisation and safety on a long-term, ongoing project.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising groundworks on construction sites.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements on site.
• CSCS Gold Card preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with site management, subcontractors and suppliers.

GROUNDWORKS SUPERVISOR REQUIRED - WATER WORKS PROJECT

Location: Harpenden, Hertfordshire

Rate: £250 per day

Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Supervisor to join a demolition company working on a water works project in Harpenden, Hertfordshire.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating groundworks activities on site, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standards. You will oversee groundworkers and coordinate with the wider site team to ensure the project runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate groundworks activities on the water works project.


• Manage and direct groundworkers and site operatives.


• Oversee groundworks operations and ensure works are completed to the required specification.


• Coordinate daily activities with site management and other contractors.


• Monitor productivity, quality and progress of works.


• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with site procedures.


• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, suppliers and other relevant parties.


• Identify and report any issues, hazards or delays to the Site Manager.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Groundworks Supervisor or in a similar supervisory position.


• Proven experience supervising groundworks projects.


• Experience managing groundworkers and coordinating site activities.


• CSCS Gold Card preferred.


• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety requirements.


• Good understanding of groundworks procedures and site operations.


• Strong leadership and communication skills.


• Ability to liaise effectively with site management, contractors and suppliers.


• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively in a busy site environment.
