Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a Site Supervisor for a permanent re-roofing project in Halifax. You will report to the Project Manager and ensure works run to programme, on budget, with strong HSE compliance and quality control.

Requirements include SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, plus a proven track record in refurbishment schemes. Salary is up to £35k plus car allowance and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven refurbishment delivery experience, preferably roofing.
• Stable, progressive career history in supervisory roles.
• Required tickets: SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Ensure programme of works is completed within timescales and budget.
• Maintain health and safety culture on site.
• Monitor quality of work and liaise with client.
• Order materials and manage relationships with Tenant Liaison Officer.
• Support on-site operations in Halifax under Project Manager.

Job description

We are working with a well established and longstanding Social Housing Contractor who specialise within roofing replacements to tenanted Social Housing properties across the North West and Yorkshire regions. The company have a great company culture and ethos. The company get regular repeat business from their clients, and have a great reputation due to the quality of work they deliver.

They have been awarded new contracts, alongside their existing contracts with clients. As a result, they are seeking a Site Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis, working on a re-roofing scheme in Halifax.

You will be reporting into a Project Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team.
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Ordering materials
• Working closely with the Tenant Liaison Officer and ensuring tenant satisfaction is maintained

Experience needed:

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets, along with a proven track record of successfully delivering Refurbishment schemes, ideally with some roofing experience.

You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

The salary on offer is up to £35k plus car allowance and other benefits (fuel card, pension etc.)
