Job summary

Avenue Scotland is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead groundworks delivery across a new homes development in Fife, Scotland. You will oversee site teams, subcontractors, plant and resources to ensure works progress safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

You will coordinate drainage, foundations, roads, kerbing, utilities and earthworks, while maintaining records and ensuring site safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Groundworks Manager/Site Supervisor or Senior Groundworks Supervisor/Foreman.
• Strong background in groundworks and civil engineering.
• Experience managing groundworks packages and site teams.
• Knowledge of drainage, foundations, roads, kerbing, utilities, concrete works and earthworks.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Management/Supervisor Card.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all groundworks operations across the development.

• Plan and manage works in line with project programmes and key deadlines.
• Monitor progress, productivity and quality across the groundworks package.
• Coordinate drainage, foundations, roads, kerbing, utilities, concrete works and earthworks.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety requirements and company procedures.
• Lead site teams, carrying out inductions, toolbox talks and regular site briefings.
• Liaise closely with Site Managers, Contracts Managers, engineers and other contractors.
• Identify potential programme or site issues and implement solutions to minimise delays.
• Ensure inspections, site records and relevant documentation are completed accurately.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and site organisation.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to take responsibility for the delivery of groundworks operations across a new homes development in Fife.

The successful candidate will oversee site teams, subcontractors, plant and resources, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.
