Job summary

Paxton Personnel Ltd is recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a well-established construction company working on projects across the Scottish Highlands. You will assist the Site Manager in day-to-day site oversight, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to high standards.

This role requires previous construction site experience, with duties including coordinating trades, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with day-to-day management of site activities.

• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Carry out site inspections and maintain high standards of workmanship.
• Support site health & safety procedures and ensure site rules are followed.
• Assist with organising labour, materials and deliveries.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
• Help identify and resolve site issues to keep works progressing.
• Assist with snagging and finishing works.
• Maintain relevant site records and documentation.

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join an established construction company working on projects across the Scottish Highlands.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction experience who is looking to develop their career within site management. Working alongside the Site Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of site, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

About You

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have previous experience within the construction industry and are looking to progress their career within site management.

You may already be working as an Assistant Site Manager, or you could be an experienced Site Supervisor, Foreman or tradesperson looking to take the next step into management.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous construction site experience
• Experience supervising trades and subcontractors
• Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Good understanding of construction health & safety
• SMSTS or SSSTS would be advantageous
• CSCS card
• First Aid qualification would be advantageous
• Full UK driving licence

The Opportunity
