Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

As our Supervisor,you'll be part the Delivery Team and will be responsiblefor carrying out the safe, efficient and on time delivery of water schemes in the area and supporting our teams on site. Projects will range in size, complexity and value across this framework. They may include shafts construction, PRV and Magflow Meter Bypass, mains laying, Cross Connections, Chamber Construction, etc.
You'll take responsibility for the safe, efficient delivery of projects, leading and promoting a safe zero harm culture.You’ll follow M G Water Business Management Systems and processes to ensure right first time delivery, in a quality controlled environment. Write RAMS, T&IPS, briefings, TBTs, NCRs, control permits and temporary works on site.
Supervising labour, plant and materials. You’ll manage customers and general public impacted by our works.Developing and delivering Project Management Plans including environment, quality, safety, health and wellbeing.
You'll build collaborative teams, managing specialist subcontractors, and following and promoting company initiatives. Ensuring we deliver safe, on time, efficient projects that delight our client and the customers.
Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and the coaching of staff in construction techniques, ensuring appropriate use of PPE.Coordinate document control and design management for your project. Ensure the timely close out of actions arising from internal and external audits. Participate in investigations and continual improvement.
What you’ll bring
Do you have experience of water or wastewater infrastructure?
Are you experienced in control costs, value and schedule management?
Do you have Health and Safety training, or recognised certification such as IOSH or similar, and SMSTS?
Do you have a comprehensive understanding of Temporary Works requirements?
