Job summary

RTL Group Ltd is seeking a Sub Agent to support site operations on civil engineering projects in the UK. You will work with the Site Agent to manage day-to-day activities, coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors, and ensure safety and compliance on site.

The role requires a strong civils, earthworks and tunnelling background, with experience in TBM, piling and shaft work preferred. A Black CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS are expected, along with First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• Previous Sub Agent experience required.
• Strong civils, earthworks and tunnelling background.
• Experience with TBM, piling and shafts desirable.
• Black CSCS Card is required.
• SMSTS / SSSTS certification is expected.
• First Aid training is desirable.
• Lifting Operations ticket desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Agent with day-to-day site operations and site teams.
• Assist with TBM tunnelling, shaft construction, piling and civils works.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
• Liaise with the Site Agent, client, engineers and project management team.
• Complete inspections, toolbox talks and site paperwork.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance with RAMS.
