Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor is hiring an experienced Sub Agent to support multiple renewable energy civils projects. You will check setting out works, supervise site activities, and work with the project management team to ensure safety and quality.

The role requires CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS, a full UK driving licence, and strong communication. You will ensure documentation is up to date and that works are completed on time and in accordance with the method statements.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases.
• CSCS card required; SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder preferred.
• Full UK driving licence essential; strong communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Check setting out works including earthworks, duct installations, troughs and RC bases.
• Work alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with agreed methodology and documented procedures.

I am working alongside a leading civil engineering contractor who are currently looking to hire an experienced Sub Agent due to a number of new contracts being awarded. My client operates across the civils sector on renewable energy projects.

Sub Agent responsibilities:

• Chekcing setting out works. Works include earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Working alongside the project management team.
• Site supervision.
• Ensuring health and safety compliance.
• Ensuring works are being carried out in accordance to agreed methodology and method.
• Ensuring the correct documentation is held on site.
• Ensuring works are completed on time and to specification.

Sub Agent requirements:

• Experience with setting out earthworks, duct installations, troughs, and RC bases.
• Right to work in the UK.
• CSCS card
• SSSTS/SMSTS ticket holder
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong communication skills.
