Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is recruiting for a Sub Agent to deliver a key Sturry Link Road project in Canterbury. The role is site-based, reporting to a Site Agent, and will oversee sections of works including a 550-metre road and a 250-metre viaduct over the Great Stour River and railway line.

You will manage site operations, supervise engineers and subcontractors, and ensure works align with project requirements, safety standards, and schedule.

Qualifications

• MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/ Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of varied site experience in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction management.
• Business awareness and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Manage sections of works, ensuring delivery safely, on programme and within budget.
• Oversee site operations and supervise engineers and subcontractors under your control.
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project requirements and on-site standards.
