Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick is recruiting a Senior Engineer for the Sturty Link Road project in Canterbury. The role is site-based and involves managing engineers, producing RAMS and ITPs, and delivering weekly progress updates. You will work under a Site Agent and contribute to civil, infrastructure, and building works.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant on-site civil engineering experience, a civil engineering degree, and strong knowledge of construction management and business awareness.

Qualifications

• MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years of varied site experience in Civil Engineering.
• Knowledge of construction management and business awareness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all engineering duties on-site and ensure engineers under your supervision complete their tasks.
• Produce RAMS, temporary works briefs, ITPs, and Weekly progress/planning updates.
• Raise NCRs, issue TQs and Early Warnings as required, reporting to Site Agent.

We have an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Engineer to play an integral part of delivering our project at Sturty Link Road in Canterbury.

The project will consist of a 550-metre-long road and a 250-meter viaduct to be built over the Great Stour River and the railway line from Canterbury to Ramsgate.

As the Senior Engineer you will be responsible for all engineering duties and ensuring the engineers under their control complete theirs. You will also produce RAMS, temporary works briefs, ITP's, weekly progress and planning updates, NCR's, TQs and Early Warnings. The role will be based on-site and will report to a Site Agent.

About You

• MEng/BEng/Foundation Degree/BTEC/ Degree in Civil Engineering.
