Job summary

Winshall is seeking an experienced Site/Setting Out Engineer for a BESS project in Wrexham. You will set out bases, drainage works and access roads on site, supporting civil activities with surveying accuracy.

Candidates must have at least 5 years on UK sites in this role and be comfortable working on fast-moving projects, with survey equipment available (Topcon/Leica) if not held.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working on UK sites in this role.
• Experience setting out bases, drainage and access roads.

Responsibilities

• Set out bases and drainage works for BESS project.
• Set out access roads and related civil works.
• Assist with site surveys and verification using provided equipment.

Job description

Winshall are seeking an experienced Site/setting out engineer to assist them on a BESS project in Wrexham. You must have a minimum of 5 years working on UK sites in this role, with experience of setting out bases, drainage, access roads etc. Survey equipment can be provided if not held (Topcon / Leica).

With the works that Winshall have already lined up into 2027, there are opportunities in the North West for carry on work. Please be advised though that National Grid Person will be required for these, as they are hV substation projects. Information can be provided to assist certification.
