Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Engineer to join the Foundation & Support team within Production Network Engineering. You will design, deploy, and operate site services network infrastructure that underpins connectivity, reliability, and performance across Meta's global production environments.

The role requires 6+ years in production or data center networks, strong automation skills (Python/Bash), and experience with DNS, DHCP, NTP, and routing protocols.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in production/data center network engineering.
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, NTP and site services.
• Scripting for network provisioning with Python/Bash.
• Troubleshooting large-scale production networks and post-incident review.
• Familiarity with BGP/OSPF in data center networks.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code in site services.
• Ability to communicate designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain site services network infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Develop automation tooling for provisioning and configuration management.
• Collaborate with systems engineering and data center operations.
• Evaluate architecture and contribute to capacity planning.
