Job summary

Meta in London seeks a Network Production Engineer (University Grad) to expand and scale a global production network. You will rotate through Backbone, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure teams, and contribute to multi-vendor network deployments.

Ideal candidates have UNIX/TCP-IP knowledge, programming skills (Python/Golang/Rust/C++), and a relevant degree completed before joining Meta, with a passion for large-scale systems and ethical AI practices.

Qualifications

• Experience learning new concepts around network design and management.
• Experience with UNIX, TCP/IP, network fundamentals, or similar.
• Experience with computer networks.
• Experience coding in at least one language (Python/Golang/Rust/C++).
• Degree completed prior to joining Meta.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotations across Backbone, Data Center, and Network Infrastructure teams.
• Build, manage and maintain multi-vendor networks across data centers and backbone.
• Develop optimized network monitoring systems.
• Design and deploy new network architectures.
• Create automated methods to mitigate and remediate network events.
• Analyze data to diagnose root causes of network issues.
• Engage in deep technical discussions and drive infrastructure consistency.
