Job summary

Meta is seeking a Network Engineer to join the Foundation & Support team within Production Network Engineering. You will design, deploy, and operate the site services network infrastructure that underpins connectivity and performance across Meta's global production environments.

Responsibilities include building DNS, DHCP, and NTP services, automating provisioning with Python or Bash, and collaborating with data center and systems teams to ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of network engineering in production or data center environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain site services network infrastructure supporting production environments (DNS, DHCP, NTP).
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents; perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Develop automation tooling and scripts for provisioning and configuration management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align site services with production needs.
• Evaluate network architecture tradeoffs and contribute to capacity planning and lifecycle decisions.
• Define and track reliability metrics for foundational network services.
• Identify gaps in site services coverage and implement improvements.
• Document network designs, runbooks, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to minimize production impact.
