Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Site Services Engineer to join our Nottingham engineering team. You will provide multi-skilled maintenance across site, manage steam and water systems, pipework, and assist external contractors while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with permits to work.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4pm, with permanent, full-time status. The role offers opportunities to develop skills through formal training and to contribute to site improvements and

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Engineering (essential).
• NVQ Level 2 in construction (essential).
• BOAS Qualified (essential).
• COSHH Level 2 and IOSH working safely are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on site plant machinery.
• Manage legionella control with contractors per L8 HSE Code of Practice.
• Maintain internal site fabrication across production, ancillary, and office areas.
• Identify site improvements and present proposals to Line Manager for approval.
• Develop skills in agreement with Line Manager to increase site-task capability.
• Oversee maintenance on external buildings and surrounding areas.
• Complete daily schedule sign-offs and record additional work via job sheets.
• Coordinate external contractors for tasks beyond site capability and obtain quotations.
