Job summary

K.A.G. Recruitment Consultancy Ltd is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to appoint a Site Services Engineer in Wrexham.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be the site expert for maintaining equipment efficiency and reducing downtime across the facility. You will develop and deliver a maintenance plan, coordinating with stores, plant and people to ensure assets are ready for operations.

Qualifications

• Broad engineering background with experience in manufacturing/FMCG.
• Strong electrical and mechanical technical skills with relevant qualifications.
• Experience in facility maintenance activities and safe working practices including statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prioritised planned or unplanned maintenance activities on time to support operations.
• Maintain site buildings and facilities via CMMS, stores, and administration functions.
• Develop problem-solving approaches to prevent repeat damage and GMP area abnormalities.
• Lead by example and work safely, promoting company policies.
• Suggest improvements and solutions to the engineering manager.
