Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Site Services Engineer for a full-time, permanent role based near Deeside. You will maintain and fault-find across building services, supporting safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has an electrical trade apprenticeship with 5+ years’ experience and a City & Guilds or NC in Electrical Engineering, with a clean driving licence.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical trade apprenticeship with a minimum of 5 years' practical industry experience.
• NC or City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skill base with proven fault‑finding ability.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, 'get the job done' approach.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a broad range of site equipment, including lighting, small power, dock levellers, and refrigeration plant.
• Diagnose faults quickly and effectively, ensuring safe and compliant repair work.
• Support the smooth running of site operations by responding to daily engineering needs.
• Maintain high standards of safety, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contractors to deliver a reliable and efficient service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance and site infrastructure.

Role Overview
