Job summary

Enlist Solution is seeking an experienced Site Services Manager in Bristol to coordinate and support site-based engineering activities across a busy controls and automation environment. You will plan workloads, manage site logistics and ensure projects run safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.

You will work with Project Managers, Service Engineers, clients and suppliers to ensure smooth operations from planning to completion, maintaining schedules, budgets and quality standards

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong planning, organisation and coordination skills.
• Experience supporting site services, project delivery or field teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to breakdowns quickly.
• Good communication with engineers, clients and internal teams.
• Familiar with risk assessments, method statements and ISO docs.
• Commercial awareness and budget monitoring.
• Full UK driving licence.

Site Services Manager

Location: Bristol

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Working Pattern: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced Site Services Manager to coordinate and support the delivery of site-based engineering activities across a busy controls and automation environment. The role will involve planning engineer workloads, managing site logistics, supporting project delivery and ensuring all site activities are completed safely, efficiently and in line with company procedures.

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Service Engineers, clients, suppliers and internal teams, helping ensure site operations run smoothly from initial planning through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Raise and maintain engineers' job sheets, including activity and budget information.
• Schedule Service Engineers and allocate suitable resources to site activities.
• Carry out cost analysis to support project and Profit & Loss reporting.
• Review site activity quotes and budgets with Project Managers.
• Manage engineer holidays, absences and sickness records.
• Prepare site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Coordinate site access with clients and confirm planned activities.
• Establish client commissioning and hardware requirements.
• Order and track materials required for site activities.
• Coordinate breakdowns, emergency call-outs and urgent site requirements.
• Arrange engineer accommodation within agreed project budgets.
• Coordinate travel arrangements including flights, ferries and rail travel where required.
• Arrange specialist vehicles, couriers and equipment hire, including cranes and telehandlers.
• Review and submit engineers' working hours for payroll processing.
• Maintain documentation in line with company safety, environmental, quality and ISO procedures.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties to support the wider engineering and project teams.

Requirements

• Degree, HND or HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong planning, organisational and coordination skills.
• Previous experience supporting engineering, site services, project delivery or field-based teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to breakdowns or changing site requirements.
• Good communication skills when dealing with engineers, clients, suppliers and internal teams.
• Understanding of health and safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Familiarity with Risk Assessments, Method Statements and ISO-related documentation.
• Good commercial awareness and ability to monitor activity costs and budgets.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience within control systems, electrical engineering, automation, switchgear, commissioning or industrial engineering would be advantageous.
