The Site Security Controller is responsible for the management and maintenance of NGUKL information and physical security policies that relate to FSC certification for our Ministry of Defence (MOD) sponsored Facilities. The Site Security Controller will manage and provide line management to the allocated members of the UK security team as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Facility lead for Facility Security Clearance (FSC) Operating Unit
  • Maintain relationship with customer Security Advisor to ensure maintenance of the FSC certifications.
  • Lead with all communication with regards to FSC information and physical security policies.
  • Maintain The Company Security instructions, capturing and tracking all required details regarding FSC appointments.
  • Liaise with vetting to maintain a register of clearances with access to the facility.
  • Manage clearances locally for access and attendance at meetings
  • Monitor and control:
    • Risk Management and Accreditation Document sets for the facility
    • Security Operating Procedures
    • The effectiveness of Security Controls

We are looking for:

  • Experience of information security control in a Defence or Government capacity
  • Evidenced experience of developing information security policy and standards
  • Track record of working within an IT security infrastructure (network and servers) and services, including Cloud computing
  • Experience working within UK MOD with knowledge of the Nuclear industry
  • Risk Management and treatment

Security clearance:

You must be able to gain and maintain the highest level of UK Government security clearance. Our requirement team is on hand to answer any questions and we will guide you through the process.
