Job summary

Awerian is a research and technology development consultancy focused on the UK defence and national security sector. You will lead site security, manage policies, records and onboarding, and work with senior leaders to address security risks and compliance requirements.

The role requires a BSc or higher and a background in security/compliance, with strong written and verbal communication, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to present technical information to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Educated to BSc or above (or equivalent).
• A background in compliance, security, or regulatory affairs is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Establish and manage the company approach to site security, including policies and records.
• Conduct site security onboarding for new starters.
• Lead security training and awareness for staff.
• Investigate and report on security incidents.
• Prepare for site visits and inspections by Government/Contracting Authority.
