Job summary

Catering, Middlesbrough, is seeking an engineer to support the senior project team on site. You will contribute to setting out, QA documentation, and progress reporting while coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers.

Periodic weekend and night shifts may be required. A CSCS card and BIM familiarity are desirable; an engineering degree or ONC/HNC is beneficial for progression in this contract role.

Qualifications

• CSCS card is required.
• Experience with engineering settings and QA docs is preferred.
• Awareness of BIM and reporting using reports is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the senior project team with implementing the engineering strategy.
• Provide sketches detailing setting out information.
• Maintain and use survey equipment.
• Assist Sub Agent in managing materials, plant and labour.
• Understand subcontractor attendances and report variations.
• Assist in feedback on project performance against estimates.
• Prepare QA docs such as ITPs and check sheets.
