Job summary

A leading sub-contractor in construction in England is seeking a Site Engineer for a 6-month contract. Responsibilities include managing engineering tasks, setting out ground works and an RC frame, and compliance with health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in setting out. A CSCS card is required, and experience with QA and AS built Surveys will be advantageous. My client is a leading sub-contractor in the civils and construction sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete a 6 month contract. You will be required to manage the engineering, including the setting out of ground works and an RC frame

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Managing QA and complete AS built Surveys.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Completing all setting out associated to the RC frame and ground works
• Raising technical queries on design issues.
• CSCS card.
• SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.
• Previous experience setting out RC frames and ground works
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
