Job summary

Springwater Academy, part of the Ascent Academies Trust, is seeking a reliable Assistant Site Supervisor to join our site team in Harrogate. This role focuses on practical maintenance, caretaking, and helping keep the school safe and welcoming for learners and staff.

You will support the Site Manager with daily operations, carry out minor repairs, ensure health and safety standards, assist with deliveries and room setups, and contribute to a positive environment across the academy.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (4/C or above) is essential.
• Hands-on maintenance, DIY or facilities experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the Ascent Academies Trust.

Responsibilities

• Assist Site Manager with day-to-day site operations.
• Carry out minor repairs and general caretaking tasks.
• Ensure premises are safe, clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Help with site security, deliveries, and room setups for activities.
