Job summary

Hunts Grove Primary Academy is seeking a dependable Site Assistant to support the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring buildings, grounds and facilities are safe, secure and well maintained. You will carry out practical tasks, assist with maintenance and repairs, and support health and safety compliance for daily activities and events.

This role requires good organisation, the ability to work in a team, and a full UK driving licence with access to a suitable vehicle to travel

Qualifications

• Organisational and project management abilities to balance deadlines and demands.
• Knowledge of moving and handling procedures.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for travelling between schools.

Responsibilities

• Support the security of the premises, including opening up and locking for events as required.
• Undertake decorating and maintenance work to a high standard as agreed with the Site/Regional Estates Manager.
• Carry out health and safety checks and keep up-to-date records under the Site Manager or Regional Estates Manager.
