Lead reliability, availability, scalability, and performance improvements for GCP-hosted applications, platforms, and shared services.
- Define and manage service level indicators (SLIs), service level objectives (SLOs), and error-budget practices to align technical health with customer impact.
- Design and implement observability solutions using Dynatrace, including instrumentation, dashboards, distributed tracing, service health monitoring, and SLO-based alerting.
- Develop modular, reusable, and maintainable Terraform code for secure cloud infrastructure and environment provisioning.
- Administer production Kubernetes environments, including cluster lifecycle, workload deployment, upgrades, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Automate operational activities using Python, Groovy, Bash, or PowerShell to reduce manual effort and increase consistency.
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions with automated quality and deployment controls.
- Lead incident response, perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews, ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Embed security, resilience, monitoring, and supportability into platform and application designs from the outset.
- Coach engineers, contribute reusable standards and patterns, and promote SRE and operational excellence across engineering communities.
- Drive automation, self-service, and repeatable engineering patterns to reduce manual effort and operational toil.
- Ensure faster incident restoration, stronger incident learning, and sustained reduction in repeat failures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to explain service risk and technical options, working effectively across multiple teams.
- Demonstrate hands-on expertise in GCP operations, SRE practices, Dynatrace observability, Terraform, Kubernetes, CI/CD, scripting, cloud security, networking, and DevOps.
