Devopsroles seeks an experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our small, agile engineering team in London. You will design, build and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP with Kubernetes, while owning deployments and improving reliability across critical systems.

The role emphasizes automation, end-to-end ownership, and collaboration with software teams to drive cloud-native best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on GCP experience.
• Expertise in Kubernetes production environments.
• Strong IaC with Terraform.
• Proficient in Python for automation.
• Experience with Helm packaging.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP using Kubernetes.
• Automate SDLC processes and improve operational efficiency with IaC.
• Define and monitor SLOs/SLIs, ensure reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with software teams on deployment strategies and cloud-native practices.
• Own production projects end-to-end, including documentation.

• Design&Build:Architect,deploy,andmaintainhighlyscalableandreliableinfrastructureonGoogleCloudPlatform(GCP)usingKubernetesandInfrastructure-as-Codetools.
• Automation:Championautomationacrosstheentiresoftwaredevelopmentlifecycle(SDLC),utilizingIaC,PythonandBashtoreducetoilandimproveoperationalefficiency.
• Infrastructure-as-Code(IaC):OwnandevolveourdeclarativeinfrastructureusingTerraformforcloudresourcesandHelmforKubernetesapplicationdeployment.
• Monitoring&Observability:Implementandmanagerobustmonitoring,alerting,andloggingsolutionstoensureclearsystemvisibilityandproactiveissueidentification.
