Job summary

Insight is seeking a hands-on Lead SRE to improve reliability and performance of GCP-hosted applications. You will define SLOs, implement Dynatrace-based observability, and craft secure Terraform provisioning for cloud environments.

Responsibilities include Kubernetes administration, automation of operational tasks, and leading incident response with RCA and follow-up actions. Strong scripting and CI/CD expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with GCP operations and SRE practices.
• Strong knowledge of Dynatrace observability tooling.
• Proficient in Terraform for secure cloud infrastructure provisioning.
• Kubernetes administration including clusters, deployments, upgrades and networking.
• Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Incident response, RCA, and post-incident reviews with action follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability, availability, scalability, and performance improvements for GCP-hosted applications and services.
• Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets and align health with customer impact.
• Design and implement observability solutions using Dynatrace with instrumentation and dashboards.
• Develop modular Terraform code for secure cloud environments and provisioning.
• Administer production Kubernetes environments including lifecycle, deployments, upgrades, and networking.
• Automate operations to reduce manual toil using Python, Groovy, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Drive CI/CD quality controls and automated deployments with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Lead incident response, perform complex troubleshooting, and ensure corrective actions post-incident.
