Job summary

OnSite is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support major water projects in Tipton. You will manage on-site commercial activities, coordinate with managers and subcontractors, and ensure contracts are delivered on time and within budget.

The role requires a degree or appropriate HNC/HND with water/civil sector experience, NEC3/NEC4 and JCT knowledge, and a valid driving license. The company offers extensive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or HNC/HND in Civil/Mechanical Eng.
• Experience in utilities/civil sector, preferably water industry.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 and JCT contract forms.
• Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate.
• Full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of costs, program changes, productivity, and profitability.
• Manage subcontractor orders, contract performance, and support valuations.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly CVRs, and handle valuations and final accounts.
• Provide contract expertise, resolve disputes, and attend contract negotiations.
• Conduct progress reviews, report costs and contractual issues, assist with tenders.
• Participate in post-contract reviews and suggest improvements.

Education

Degree in Quantity Surveying

HNC / HND in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

Tools
