Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Quality Manager for the Eastern Green Link 2 project based at Peterhead, Aberdeenshire. You will lead on quality standards, ensure procedures are implemented on site and drive readiness for handover.

Responsibilities include monitoring the PEP, advising on QA effectiveness, coordinating audits, and maintaining documentation while promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Sub-station construction experience across earthworks, civils, steelwork, ME, ducting, drainage and testing.
• Lead Auditor qualification.
• Chartered member of CQI.
• Experience planning, implementing, monitoring and improving site quality systems.
• Strong communication and IT skills.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and manages change.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the Project Execution Plan (PEP) in line with client specifications and design governance.
• Advise on the effectiveness of the project quality system and PEP implementation.
• Assist staff in preparing required procedures.
• Advise on subcontractor and supplier quality systems.
• Ensure correct naming conventions for project quality information.
