EDF is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to develop, operate and monitor contract programmes on-site at HPC. You will ensure schedules align with contract requirements, update progress, and incorporate emergent works while coordinating with the client and management.

The role requires fluent Primavera P6 and Excel skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams, safety and cost considerations in a nuclear project environment.

Qualifications

• Sufficient and appropriate assistant/trainee Planning Engineer experience.
• Experience in Petrochemical, Power & Process Industry sectors.
• Ability to produce a feasible programme of activities from a given scope of work.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with all relevant parties and report status.
• Ability to anticipate and highlight critical programme areas for management action.
• Fluency in Primavera P6 and Excel to provide prompt accurate information.
• Awareness of safety, quality and cost implications in planning work.
• Staff salaried position based on site at HPC full time.

Responsabilités

• Produce programme reflecting contract requirements.
• Monitor programme and update it against performance.
• Incorporate programme variations and manage changes.
• Report progress to client/management with clear rationale.
• Anticipate critical path issues and advise remedial action.
• Allocate estimated costs to activities and support baselining.
• Develop and communicate resource requirements for project timelines.
• Analyze Earned Value Performance on the project.
